Waterproof Mattress Protector – Single, Queen & King

A mattress is one of the most expensive things in your home, and it soaks up more than you think: spilled tea, sweat on hot nights, kids' accidents, pets and everyday dust. Once a stain sinks in, you cannot wash a mattress. A waterproof protector stops all of that at the surface, and you can simply take it off and wash it.

Mattress sizes vary between brands, so measure the length, width and depth of your mattress before you order. If your mattress does not match a standard size, choose Custom Size.

• Mattress protector: a thin, washable layer that guards the mattress against liquids, stains and dust. Ours is fully waterproof.
• Mattress cover: people often use this name for the same thing. Some covers are only dust covers and are not waterproof.
• Mattress topper: a thick, cushioned layer that changes how soft or firm the bed feels. It does not protect against spills.

If you want to keep your mattress clean and dry, a waterproof protector is what you need.

A fitted sheet is something you sleep on; it is not waterproof, and spills go straight through to the mattress. Our protector goes on the mattress first, with your bedsheet on top. It fits like a fitted sheet thanks to the all-around elastic, so it stays smooth and does not bunch under you.

• Lay it on the mattress with the soft side facing up.
• Pull the elastic edge over one corner, then the diagonally opposite corner, then the other two.
• Smooth it flat and put your bedsheet on top.

Add our waterproof pillow protectors (pack of 2) for the full set, then finish the bed with a satin bedsheet set.

• Length: measure from the head end to the foot end along the top of the mattress.
• Width: measure from side to side across the top.
• Depth: measure from the bottom edge to the top surface. Our standard sizes fit up to 10 inches / 25 cm deep.

If any measurement does not match our Single, Queen or King sizes, choose Custom Size so it fits snugly without bunching.

Children spill drinks, eat in bed and have the occasional night-time accident. Older family members may need extra protection too. A 100% waterproof protector means a wet bed is a quick change of the protector and sheet, not a ruined mattress. Many families keep a second protector so there is always one ready while the other is in the wash.

• Wash the protector regularly, following the instructions in the Washcare tab.
• Turn or rotate your mattress every few months so it wears evenly.
• Air the room on dry days to keep humidity down.
• Use waterproof pillow protectors as well, as pillows soak up sweat too.

Is it really waterproof?
Yes, it is 100% waterproof, so spilled drinks and accidents do not reach the mattress.

Will it feel or sound like plastic?
No. The soft top layer means there is no crinkly sound or plastic feel when you move.

Will I feel hot sleeping on it?
The soft top layer absorbs moisture and regulates heat, so most people do not notice it under the bedsheet.

Which size fits a double bed?
Most double mattresses are about 72 x 48 inches / 182 x 121 cm, which is between our Single and Queen sizes, so choose Custom Size for a proper fit.

How deep a mattress does it fit?
Standard sizes fit mattresses up to 10 inches / 25 cm deep, held on by all-around elastic.

Is it good for kids and bedwetting?
Yes. Being 100% waterproof, it keeps the mattress safe from night-time accidents and spilled drinks.

Does it go over or under the bedsheet?
Under. Put the protector on the mattress first, then your bedsheet on top.

Is it washable?
Yes, you can take it off and wash it. Follow the instructions in the Washcare tab.

Should I use a mattress protector on a new mattress?
Yes. The best time to add one is on day one, before the mattress picks up any stains.

Can I sleep directly on it?
You can, but it is designed to go under a bedsheet. A sheet on top is more comfortable and keeps the protector cleaner.
